Gumbeaux Gators' Matt Scott Named TCL Week 7 Player of the Week

The Texas Collegiate League has named Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators standout Matt Scott as the Week 7 Player of the Week after an outstanding week at the plate that helped power the Gators' offense.

Scott turned in one of the league's most impressive offensive performances, batting .417 while posting a .423 on-base percentage and an .833 slugging percentage. He collected 10 hits, scored eight runs, and drove in nine RBIs during the week.

The explosive hitter also showcased his extra-base power, recording two doubles, one triple, and two home runs, while adding three stolen bases to impact the game in multiple ways.

Scott's all-around performance was instrumental in Lake Charles' success during Week 7 and earned him recognition as one of the league's top offensive performers.
