Diego Corrales Named Texas Collegiate League Pitcher of the Week

The Texas Collegiate League is proud to recognize Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators right-hander Diego Corrales as this week's TCL Pitcher of the Week after a dominant performance on the mound.

Corrales was outstanding in his appearance, earning the victory while helping lead the Gumbeaux Gators to a key win. Over 6.1 scoreless innings, he allowed just two hits, struck out three batters, and did not allow a run, finishing the week with a sparkling 0.00 ERA.

The right-hander consistently worked ahead in counts and kept opposing hitters off balance throughout his outing, delivering one of the strongest pitching performances of the young TCL season. His ability to limit hard contact and pitch deep into the game provided a major boost for Lake Charles.

As the summer season continues, Corrales has quickly established himself as one of the league's top arms and a key contributor for the Gumbeaux Gators.
