Sherman Shadowcats' Tyler Sessions Named Texas Collegiate League Player of the Week
The Texas Collegiate League is proud to announce Sherman Shadowcats standout Tyler Sessions as this week's TCL Player of the Week after an outstanding all-around performance at the plate.
Sessions was one of the league's most productive hitters, batting .391 while posting an impressive .517 on-base percentage and .739 slugging percentage. His ability to consistently reach base and drive the ball helped fuel the Shadowcats' offense throughout the week.
The talented infielder collected nine hits, including five doubles and one home run, while scoring five runs and driving in five RBIs. He also demonstrated excellent plate discipline by drawing four walks and being hit by a pitch twice, helping him reach base at an elite rate.
