Victoria's Drew Wenske Named TCL Week 8 Pitcher of the Week
The Texas Collegiate League has named Victoria Generals right-hander Drew Wenske as the Week 8 Pitcher of the Week after a dominant performance on the mound.
Wenske turned in one of the most impressive pitching outings of the 2026 season, tossing 8.0 hitless innings while allowing no runs and striking out 11 batters to earn the victory. He finished the week with a 1-0 record and a 0.00 ERA, overpowering opposing hitters from the first inning through the eighth.
His outstanding effort helped lead the Generals during the final week of the regular season and provided a strong finish as Victoria secured the No. 1 seed heading into the 2026 TCL Playoffs.
