The Texas Tomcats split a double header with the Brazos Valley Bombers on Thursday night. The Tomcats offense started out hot in game one, winning 12-3 behind homeruns by Casey Grayson and Kevin Mihalik. Tony Manville picked up the win, pitching five innings, only allowing two runs on four hits while stirking out two. In game two, the Tomcat's offense was cooled off by Bomber's starting pitcher Levi Saenz. Saenz allowed only one run on five hits while striking out 3. Matt Passauer picked up his fifth save of the season. The Tomcats only run of the game came on an RBI single by Eric Garcia. The Tomcats moved to 19-20 on the season as the Bombers moved to 28-16. The Tomcats will travel to Victoria on Saturday to take on the Generals at 7:05pm before returning home on Monday to host the Alexandria Aces at Veteran's Park in Weimar.
