TCL ANNOUNCES 2007 ALL-STAR ROSTERS![]() The Texas Collegiate League announced today the complete rosters and starters for the 2007 Brookshire’s McCormick All-Star Game, which will take place next Monday, July 9 at Lupton Stadium on the campus of Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX. Highlighting the Rogers Hornsby division squad is McKinney Marshals flamethrower Justin Murray from Kansas State. Murray has been impressive in every outing this summer posting a 3-0 record with a miniscule 0.39 ERA, 25 strikeouts and only one walk in 23 innings pitched. Weatherford Wranglers first baseman Adam Hornung from McLennan College leads the Hornsby sluggers with a league leading four home runs and 11 RBI. On the Tris Speaker division roster, look out for Brazos Valley ace Casey Whitmer, who pitched for Florida State last spring. The Kilgore, TX native has been nearly unhitable leading the league in strikeouts with 44, which is 19 more than the next closest pitcher. Colleyville’s Kyle Hardman from Cal-State Fullerton leads the division in RBI and will be a big bat in the Speaker lineup. Familiar faces grace both rosters this season with repeat TCL All-Stars. Wade Mackey (Baylor/Mineral Wells), Tyler Weber (Colleyville/Wichita State), Brandon Moss (Colleyville/Oklahoma), Jason Seefeld (Wichita Falls/Texas Tech) and Jose Hernandez (Denton/UTSA) all have been selected to their second consecutive TCL All-Star game.
