Bombers Complete Comeback in Wild 14-12 Win Over River Monsters

In a high-scoring slugfest, Brazos Valley rallied from an early 8-0 deficit to stun Seguin 14-12 at Smokey Joe Williams Field.

Beheeler led the offensive barrage with three hits, two RBIs, and a double. Driskill crushed a three-run home run and reached base three times, while Woodcox added a pair of RBIs. Scott doubled and drove in one, and Britton walked four times and scored twice.

Seguin came out firing with eight runs in the first inning, highlighted by RBIs from Bacon, DeHoyos, Arroyos, and Pruski. Bacon finished with three hits and two RBIs, while Kendrick and Chavez chipped in multi-hit efforts.

Brazos Valley stormed back with a four-run seventh and a seven-run eighth, capitalizing on five Seguin errors and 14 walks allowed. Filler earned the win in relief with a scoreless 1.1 innings, and Medina closed the door in the ninth.

Despite the early explosion, Seguin's bullpen faltered late, and Buchanan was charged with the loss after surrendering seven runs in one inning of work.

Rougarou Walk Off Gators in Ninth for 11 Wins in a Row

Baton Rouge scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth to edge Lake Charles 6-5 in a back-and-forth thriller.

Shelly was the hero, blasting a three-run homer in the fifth and finishing with two hits and three RBIs. Priester added a two-run shot in the seventh, and Flettrich chipped in an RBI single.

Robichaux scored twice and stole a base, while Sawa reached twice and laid down a key bunt.

For Lake Charles, Deason tied the game in the top of the ninth with a two-run single, while Spalitta and Hampshire each contributed RBIs. Lembcke opened the scoring with an RBI knock in the first, and Patterson added two hits and a double.

Adams earned the win with two strong innings of relief, striking out four and allowing only one unearned run. Paddy took the loss for the Gators, and Acosta gave up the final run in the ninth.

Despite being outhit 10-7, Baton Rouge made the most of its chances and delivered in the clutch to secure the walk-off win in front of the home crowd.

Cane Cutters Dominate Generals Behind Explosive Sixth Inning

Acadiana broke open a close game with a six-run sixth and cruised to a 9-1 win over Victoria at Fabacher Field.

Biddick reached base four times, scored three runs, and drove in one. Woods delivered the big blow with a bases-clearing triple and finished with three RBIs. Durr added two hits, including a triple, and drove in one. Harrison plated a run with a sac fly, while Stelly chipped in with an RBI and a pair of stolen bases.

The Cane Cutters were aggressive on the bases with six steals, including two each from Harrison and Marshall. Hernandez and Castaneda also contributed to a balanced offensive effort.

Victoria's lone run came in the fourth when Tabor reached on a walk and later scored. Whitfield had two of the Generals’ three hits, while Cotton swiped two bags.

On the mound, Morel earned the win in relief, striking out six over 2.1 scoreless innings. Schexnaydre started strong, allowing just one run in 3.2 innings, and Holbrook and Smith combined to shut the door with four hitless frames.

Keo took the loss for Victoria despite giving up just two hits over five innings. Rochelle and Henderson struggled in relief, combining to allow six runs in the sixth as Acadiana pulled away.

The Cane Cutters have now won back-to-back games while holding opponents to one run in each.
