Sunday's action across the Texas Collegiate League featured dramatic comebacks, offensive fireworks, and a walk-off thriller in San Antonio as teams continued jockeying for position in the early-season standings.

River Monsters Outlast Shadowcats in 10-Inning Classic, 10-9

The game of the night came at Sullivan Field where the San Antonio River Monsters rallied from a six-run deficit before walking off the Sherman Shadowcats 10-9 in ten innings.

San Antonio jumped out to a 4-0 lead through two innings before Sherman erupted for five runs in the third. Donovan Arroyo powered the Shadowcats offense, finishing 2-for-5 with a home run, double, and five RBIs.

The River Monsters battled back with three runs in the sixth and tied the game in the eighth thanks to a three-run homer from Bryce Wells. Jorge De Los Santos also delivered a huge night at the plate, going 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBIs, and three runs scored.

After Sherman regained the lead in the eighth, San Antonio answered once again before finally pushing across the winning run in the bottom of the tenth. Hunter Ham collected two hits and an RBI while Rowin Donaldson added a triple and run-scoring hit.

Brian Buchanan provided four strong innings of relief for the River Monsters, allowing just one run while striking out five to help secure the comeback victory.

Rougarou Unleash 19-Hit Attack in 17-7 Rout of Acadiana

The Baton Rouge Rougarou broke open a close game with 14 runs over the fourth through sixth innings and rolled past the Acadiana Cane Cutters 17-7.

After Acadiana grabbed a 4-1 lead in the third inning, Baton Rouge answered with four runs in the fourth, five in the fifth, and five more in the sixth to take complete control.

Jacob Keys led the offensive explosion with a monster performance, going 3-for-5 with a home run, double, and six RBIs. Brock Louque scored four times while collecting three hits and two RBIs. Nicolas Schwing reached base four times and scored three runs, and Jack Marcantel added three hits and three runs scored.

The Rougarou finished with 19 hits and eight walks, generating traffic on the bases throughout the afternoon.

Jake Clifton earned the win in relief, striking out five over two innings, while Baton Rouge pitchers combined for 11 strikeouts.

Acadiana received a two-hit effort from Tanner Hornback and a home run from Jake Farris but could not slow the Rougarou offensive surge.

Bombers Break Open Tight Game with Nine-Run Sixth

The Brazos Valley Bombers turned a one-run game into a runaway victory with a nine-run sixth inning, defeating the Abilene Flying Bison 12-4.

Abilene struck first on solo home runs from Trey Smith and Briggs Roe and carried a 3-2 lead into the middle innings. However, Brazos Valley erupted in the sixth, sending 14 batters to the plate and capitalizing on timely hitting and defensive miscues.

Matt Scott fueled the attack with two hits, three runs scored, and three RBIs. Lucas Dunn collected three hits and two RBIs, while Gage Kooyers drove in three runs. Jordan Coronado chipped in two RBIs as the Bombers piled up 11 hits.

Easton Ballard delivered five effective innings of relief, allowing just one unearned run to earn the victory.

Despite the loss, Abilene received home runs from Smith and Roe and a multi-hit performance from Trey Smith.

Generals Rally Late to Defeat Gumbeaux Gators, 10-3

The Victoria Generals scored all 10 of their runs over the final three innings to pull away from the Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators for a 10-3 victory.

Lake Charles held a 1-0 lead through five innings behind a strong start from Ty Dagley, who allowed just two hits over 5.1 scoreless frames.

Victoria finally broke through in the sixth before exploding for six runs in the seventh and adding two more in the eighth.

Graham Charboneau delivered the decisive blow, finishing 2-for-5 with a triple, a home run, and six RBIs. Caden Callaway scored three times and stole four bases, while Keegan Demmer added two hits and an RBI.

The Generals drew nine walks and swiped seven bases as they steadily pressured the Lake Charles pitching staff.

Kasen Bellard paced the Gumbeaux Gators offensively, going 3-for-4 with a home run and two stolen bases.
