The Weatherford Wranglers clinched the second playoff spot in the Rogers Hornsby Division on Friday night with a 6-2 victory over the Division champion Denton Outlaws. Game Two will take place on Tuesday, August 2 at Roger Williams Ballpark in Weatherford at 7:05 p.m. If necessary, a third game would be played in Denton on Wednesday night, August 3.
The final playoff spot to be determined is second place in the Tris Speaker Division. With a 9-7 win at McKinney on Friday, the Euless LoneStars moved into a tie with the Marshals for the right to play the Division champion Coppell Copperheads in the playoffs.
