The Texas Tomcats trailed 3-0 going into the bottom of the ninth inning against the league-leading McKinney Marshals, but were able to make a great comeback to tie the game at 3-3. Ricardo Villareal pitched a shutout inning in the top of the 10th, allowing the Tomcats the opportunity to win the game in dramatic fashion. The Tomcats quickly loaded the bases in the bottom of the 10th, and newcomer Nick DeSantiago from the University of Texas drew a walk to plate the winning run. The Tomcats move to 4-4 on the season and will face the Brazos Valley Bombers in a two game series over the weekend. The games on Saturday and Sunday will both begin at 7:05pm at Veterans Memorial Park - Strickland Field in Weimar.
